Gary Back in the day , along with the 8 track , they were a language learning aid , mostly four letter words , most people who used them became quite proficient with that language .

Fitzie, I was poking a bit of fun at you because I think you had a senior moment with VHF. I think you meant VHS.
I remember the 8-track. It was the mp3 player of our time, lol. And you are correct about the "cussing" that went on because of them, especially when they ate the tape. lol

I had to look at you response twice before I realized what I had done , well I can remember VHF it was the other tuner on your tv , and I can remember just the one tuner , don't forget I reached offical old fart status this past July ( 65 ) so I am intitled to the odd seniors moment every now and then , " what was I talking about now ? "

VHF actually means Very High Frequency. I can understand you having a SPM. I have them all the time.

How did I get dragged into this discussion??? I did read the post and was confused for a bit, but did eventually figure it out. I admit that I am creeping up there, ( a young 57) (and I do have the odd Senior Moment), and I did consider commenting on Fitzie's post. Had to go back and read them all to be sure that I hadn't commented. Now I am sure ! But us old folks have to stick together! No way of telling when the young kids will have us in a SENIORS HOME for any lapse in our thinking!!!! LOL
And if they let you out alone, when are you stopping by for that coffee???????
