In keeping with lady singers with beautiful voices, see if you can get these two.

The song was first recorded by a group in the 70s. It was written by the lady singing it. She is still with us.

It was also included on a 90s album by another lady singer and was released a couple of years after she left us a young age (she was just in her 30s).

1. What is the song?
2. Who wrote and first recorded it?
3. What group was she in?
4. Who is the singer who recorded it in the 90s.

Hint #1-27Nov: Willie also did an more up-tempo cover of the song between 2000-2010.
Hint #2-27Nov: The song is not a country song. It is a beautiful easy listening song.

Good morning everyone - unfortunately will have to leave this page early today, as we have to travel out of town [in about an hour] for a Eye Specialist appointment [we have an hour's drive to get there] - will talk to you all when we return. In the meantime we will put our 'thinking caps on'. Bye, bj

No rush bj. I'm sure it will stump the others before you get back.

Hi - back from Townsville - and have been checking out, but everytime I get a thought, I get another thought and that knocks out the first thought - think we might need a couple of more clues.

Was Emmylou Harris in the group [my favourite female singer] - The Fallen Angels, and thereafter Hot Band
