Hoyt Axton- Have a nice day
New user here. Glad I stumbled upon this site as I have previously used ultimate-guitar/youtube to find chords. Usually I have fair luck with finding songs or covers on the web that i can figure out from. I play the tenor guitar tuned in open G (same as banjo tuning) Anyone know the chords or able to convert guitar to banjo chords for Hoyt Axton's "Have a nice day"? I have only found one cover of it it on Youtube and its a lady playing it on guitar

much appreciation for any help

This is what she is doing...
[D] When I woke up this [E] mornin'
I [G] fell out of my [D] bed
I burnt my toast an' [E] coffee
An' [G] bumped my achin' [D] head.
The radio was [B7] playin'
But it [G] was so hard to [E] hear
The [D] words that they were [E] sayin'
With my [G] elbow in my [D] ear.
When it all comes [E] down
I [G] hope it doesn't land on [D] you
When the truth is [E] found
I [G] hope it will be true to [D] you.
All I'm sayin' is [B7] have a nice day
I [G] hope it doesn't rain on [E] your parade
An' when it [D] all comes [E] down
I [G] hope it doesn't land on [D] you.
[D] I believe in [E] Jesus
An' [G] what the Bible [D] said
An' I am fairly [E] certain
He had him-[G]-self a heavy [D] head.
He stared the lyin' [B7] people
So [G] bad, they hung him [E] dead
An' they [D] never even [E] listened
To [G] what he really [D] said.
