Forty again
I'm new here so forgive any mistakes in protocol. Is there anyone who knows the chords to a song written & recorded by John Berry titled "Forty Again". Having lost my dad last year, this song touches me each time I hear it. Is there something I'm supposed to do to get them posted?
Thanks, Song Chaser

Forty Again – John Berry
Capo 2nd fret
Cadd9=X32033
[G] [C] Still the same old [D] neighborhood [G] like many years a-[Cadd9]-go
[G] Houses sit in [D] white picket frames like [C] Rockwells in a [D] row
[C] I've always been a [D] rebel son but [G] daddy didn't [C] mind [G]
He [Am] wanted me to [G] chase my dreams [D] the way he did one [G] time
Now [Bm] he's sitting on the [C] front porch as [G] I get out of my [D] car
And [Bm] as my father's [C] eyes meet mine there's [G] one wish in my [D] heart
I'm wishin' my [G] dad was forty ag-[Cadd9]-ain
He would be [Em] young, I would be [D] ten
We would go [G] fishin', throw an old ball a-[C]-round
Wash his old [Em] truck and go into [D] town
[C] But we can never go [G] back to the way it was [Am] then [G]
But [C] just for today I [D] wish he was forty ag-[G]-ain [Cadd9] [G]
[C] Now we'll sit and [D] talk for hours of [G] life out on the [Cadd9] road
[G] Where I've been and [D] what I've seen and [C] journeys left to [D] go
[C] Mama looks at [D] both of us "you're [G] like two kids I [C] swear" [G]
Then the [Am] stories turn to [G] laughter before the [D] leaving turns to [G] tears [D]
I'm wishin' my [G] dad was forty ag-[Cadd9]-ain
He would be [Em] young, I would be [D] ten
We would go [G] fishin', throw an old ball a-[Cadd9]-round
Wash his old [Em] truck and go into [D] town
[C] But we can never go [G] back to the way it was [Am] then [G]
But [Cadd9] just for today I [D] wish he was forty ag-[G]-ain
Ohhhh, [C] just for today I [D] wish he was forty ag-[G]-ain ……[Cadd9] [G]/
