    Question to words in a Waylon Jennings Song

    Howdy Folks,

    the title of a Waylon Jennings Song is "Lonesome, On'ry And Mean"
    and he sing these word on de end of each verses.

    Can someone tell me, what the meaning of the word "on'ry" is ?

    On'ry is short for ornery. An ornery person is someone who is stubborn and has a bad temper.

    Hey Gary! I looked the definition on Wikipedia, and they have your picture to define ornery.
