When you said hard to live with I immediately thought of her, lol.

Hi Gary - have got a quiz for you:
The singer/songwriter is an Australian, of which he wrote a song for a Australian ‘star’ , who started his career as a lead singer in a Rock and Roll Band – and had a later version for a North American singer in the sixties.
1. Who is the songwriter
2. Who is the Australian singer
3. Who is the North American artist
4. What is the name of the song.
Hope this has you frustrated as much as some of your quizzes.

Does Slim Dusty play into this somewhere?

No, but the north american artist is a top exponent of the acoustic guitar

When you say North American artist do you mean someone who was born in the USA (or Canada)?
That would exclude Tommy Emmanuel.
And is the song a vocal or an instrumental?

The North American singer is Canadian and no, it is not an instrumental. This little man comes with a big voice

My husband [Fred] says you can go to bed now - sorry for all the frustrations, keep up the good work - love doing the quizes [even if it takes up a lot of time] - his memory hasn't had such a good workout in years. Thanks, Beryl
