Talking An Old Pair Of Shoes

    Hi All;
Been lookin for some time now for the words and tune to and
old song that was sung by, i believe, Hank Snow, and or Mac
Wiseman. I think it,s called " An Old Pair Of Shoes". a couple
of the lyrics go something like.....I'm just as plain as an old pair
of shoes. Nothing bout me is different or new. blank, blank,
blank....Sometimes a new pair of shoes hurts your feet. blank,
blank. Just come on home to, your old pair of shoes. If any
one knows of this song, or who for sure sang it, or anything, i
would be ever so grateful if you would pass along that info. to
me. Thanks to any and all in advance.

The Lost Album was released in 2003 (Music Mill 70038).
It is unreleased 1964 Capitol sessions

It was also done on a 1967 album (Hilltop JS - 6047).
That album title is simply Mac Wiseman.

Now we just need to find the song.

I know this isn't the song you were looking for - but it is a nice song just the same - The Browns - Put On An Old Pair Of Shoes on You Tube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=227dW...eature=related

Actual title is "Old Pair of Shoes".
The song was also on Mac Wiseman - 'Tis Sweet To Be Remembered: Complete Recordings 1951-1964 CD, which has 164 tracks. It is track 154.
Thanks to Rune for sending it to me.
Song has been sent to you Pete.
