    You can hear the song at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhd0wOACwQg
    The volume isn't very loud so you gotta turn it up.

    This is how I do it:

    Legend of The Parlangua – Cahoots

    Capo 4th fret

    [Am]// // // // [Am]// // // //
    [Am]// // // // [Am]// // [G]// [Am]//
    [Am]// // // // [Am]// // [G]// [Am]// // // //

    [Am] Down in the bayous of [C] Louisiana,
    Where the [G] swamp moss grows on the [Am] back of your hand.
    Papa set out from our [C] one-room shack,
    [G] Said he went fishin' but he [Am] never came back.

    And Mama said "Son, don't you [C] ever go out
    To [G] Leroux swamp when the [Am] sun goes down.
    A creature’s down there called the [C] Parlangua,
    He’s [G] got your brother, now he's [Am] got your Pa.”

    The [C] Parlangua's the [G] swamp boogie man
    [Am] Half alligator and the [F] other half -[C]-man.
    [Em] Son don't go when you [F] hear the call:
    Of the [Am] swamp water booger, the [Em] Parlan-[Am]-gua
    // // // // // // [G]// [Am]// // // //

    [Am] I told my mama, "Gotta [C] make things right,
    Going [G] huntin' down in Leroux [Am] swamp tonight.
    The stories that the old men [C] told to me,
    You gotta [G] stick it with a stick from a [Am] sweet gum tree."

    A whippoorwill cried and I [C] prayed to God,
    Then I [G] headed for the swamp in a [Am] cold gray fog.
    Hours passed, it was [C] drizzling' rain,
    When I [G] realized that I had [Am] lost my way.

    // // // // // // [G]// [Am]// // // //

    [Am] A chillin' fear in-[C]-side of me
    As I [G] whittled off a stick from a [Am] sweet gum tree.
    Spanish moss hanging [C] all around,
    [G] Stoppin' to listen at [Am] every sound.

    I [Em] stumbled and fell tangled [Am] up in vines,
    [C] Fear and panic shootin' [Am] through my mind.
    [Em] Tried to rise and then I [Am] heard him [F] scream
    The [C] Parlangua standin’ [Em] over [Am] me
    // // // // // // [G]// [Am]//
    [Am]// // // // [Am]// // [G]// [Am]// // // //

    [Am] Down on the bayous of [C] Lousiana,
    Where the [G] swamp moss grows on the [Am] back of your [F] hand
    My [Am] mama lives alone in a [C] one-room shack
    Her [G] boy went huntin' but he [Em] never came [Am] back

    And the [C] Parlangua's the [G] swamp boogie man
    He’s [Am] Half alligator and the [F] other half -[C]-man.
    [Em] Son don't go when you [F] hear the call:
    Of the [Am] swamp water booger, the [Em] Parlan-[Am]-gua (Parlangua)
    The Parlangua (Parlangua)
